AMY WALKER - Play

To continue with my 'play and movement through time' theme. I decided to create a stop motion of the sun setting, I chose this as a starting point to see how effective this was in a natural setting. I conducted this shoot outside, capturing the sun as it set. I set the camera up on a tripod and took a photograph every 30 seconds; this caught the sky changing colours and the clouds moving. I think this has worked well for a first attempt as the stop motion shows movement and each image is composed well.  I like the colours in each of the images and how each image shows how the sky is constantly changing. I am going to move on from this idea and look more into busy city lives and try and capture a stop motion through various images in a city.
