Unknown Photographer

This is a set of images created by an unknown photographer. The effect of these images is to create a ripping effect on each image which reveals text underneath the subject's skin, in my opinion this is text which represents the person's identity. The tone of all three images is quite dull and the colours have been slightly exaggerated to contrast with the white of the ripping text behind the portrait. There are no significant shadows in this set of images and the colours created are quite cold. This set of images look like they have been shot in a studio with quite bright lighting has been used.

The camera angle for the first image is high, looking down onto the subject, only getting the top half of the subjects face and part of the hand in shot. The second image has been shot using a straighter on camera angle with only the subject’s arm being captured. For the final image, the subject fills nearly the entire picture with only the subject's neck and part of hand being captured. The engagement with the subject matter is fairly close up, drawing your eyes towards the paper section of each image.

I am going to experiment using this technique in my own images which I have taken.
